Will Ludwigsen's short stories of strange mystery have appeared in Asimov's Science Fiction, Lightspeed, Nightmare, Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine, Weird Tales, and many other places. His collection In Search Of and Others (Lethe, 2013) was nominated for the Shirley Jackson Award. His next collection, Acres of Perhaps, featured the title story which was included in The Year’s Best Science Fiction and Fantasy, ed. Rich Horton (Prime Books, 2016).
His novella A Scout is Brave appeared from Lethe Press in 2024.
Will attended Clarion East in 2006 and then earned his Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Southern Maine. He taught genre creative writing at the University of North Florida for five years but now works in corporate education and communications, writing horror non-fiction for capitalism by day and horror fiction by night for you. He lives in Jacksonville, Florida, with his partner and fellow writer, Aimee Payne.
